Settling in

We realise starting nursery can be a big step for everyone concerned and therefore regard settling in as critical.

Settling In Sessions

You will be invited to attend settling in sessions with your child, prior to their actual start date. 

This is designed to support both child and parents in the transition from home to nursery. 

Nursery Handbook & ‘All About Me’ Form

Prior to your child’s start date, parents will be provided with a Nursery Handbook along with an All About Me Form and Family Information form to complete.  

These will assist our Nursery team in planning for your child and developing those important initial relationships. 

Daily Feedback & Your Child’s ‘Key Person’

During your child’s first few weeks at nursery, a member of the Nursery team will feedback to you daily about how your child has settled into Nursery and our routines. 

Your child’s Key Person will be allocated during the first few weeks, once we identify who your child is naturally migrating to and forming a connection with.
